Inspiration for this work was an article in an art newspaper describing the alteration of visual perception through the increasing experience of looking at a “two-dimensional-world”, caused by long hours of working in front of computer screens, consumption of television, computer games, smart phones as well as the existence of humans in vast urban towns and cities, build of skyscraper and multi-story buildings (“impossible to have a quick look towards horizon”).
While roaming through Detroit, MI, USA, I noticed this “flat-nessy”, especially by the “straight alignment of architecture” going along with the morbid decline of the city.
